Rob Gronkowski suffered an ankle injury during yesterday's Pats' game, but the injury didn't seem to affect his spirits.
After the win, Gronkowski was interviewed by ESPN Deportes. The reporter read his questions in Spanish, and repeated them in English for Gronk. But Gronk decided to try his best at responding in Spanish. He wasn't very successful:

All we know is that he didn't practice last week after hurting his ankle in the AFC Championship game, and he showed up in Indianapolis last night wearing a walking boot.
But it wasn't just any walking boot, it was a secret walking boot!

It was a black boot that matched his suit pants and his other shoe, which made it appear as though the Patriots were trying to disguise the boot.
Bill Belichick is notoriously tight-lipped with his injury reports.
When he was asked last night about Gronk's status, Belichick said simply, "Day to day."
Gronkowski said after the Baltimore game that he'll be fine for the Super Bowl. And he spent the bye week speaking Spanish and generally being the jovial Gronk we know and love.
So as of now, we're thinking this is a little Belichickian rope-a-dope. But if Gronk really is hampered, things get much more difficult for Brady and Co.

Like previous Super Bowl media days, today's event for Super Bowl XLVI was filled with its fair share of randomness.

As good as the Patriots' offense has been this season, they have a dirty secret that no one talks about: Rob Gronkowski and Wes Welker are their only true offensive weapons.
Okay fine, you could probably say Aaron Hernandez is a weapon too. But he almost always has a favorable match-up thanks to Gronk's presence and the genius ways the New England coaching staff moves him around the formation.
But either way, having just two or three big-time offensive options on an elite offense team (32 points per game) is sort of amazing. It's also the reason people are obsessing over Rob Gronkowski's bum ankle so much this week.
If Gronk can't beat linebackers/safeties with his speed and out-leap corners with his jumping ability, then the Patriots offense becomes really limited.
Suddenly the Giants can treat him like a traditional tight-end rather than the offensive nightmare that he's been all season — which allows them to roll more coverage to Hernandez, and shrinks the holes in the middle of the defense where Welker absolutely kills teams.
That's why Gronk's ankle is the story of the Super Bowl week — if he's hampered, it'll mean more for the Patriots offense than an injury to any other player.
Luckily for Tom Brady and friends, all indications point to Gronkowski being good to go. But if the game starts and Brady's not targeting him early, things could get dicey.

The Patriots tight end/wild man has a high ankle sprain, and it'll be a huge issue if he isn't 100%.

Rob Gronkowski was hurt last night.
Tom Brady didn't throw him the ball until deep in the first half.
He only had two catches for 26 yards.
And he lacked explosiveness on fourth-quarter jump ball that was ultimately intercepted by the Giants.
As a result, the Pats had to dink and dunk their way down the field with short passes to Wes Welker and Aaron Hernandez.
Everyone had been obsessing over Rob Gronkowski's ankle for two weeks.
But because we're conditioned to dismiss Super Bowl Week hype, no one actually believed he'd be as gimpy as he was last night.
After the game, Gronkowski claimed he felt 100%. But his teammate Deion Branch said that 75% of NFL players wouldn't have played if they had Gronk's injury. So it's clear that he wasn't himself.
The Patriots defense did more than anyone expected last night, holding the Giants to 15 points for almost the entire game. It was the offense that let them down. And Gronk's ankle, whether he'll admit it or not, played a big part in that.

The Super Bowl is done, and it did not disappoint the hundreds of millions of people who watched it all over the world.
For the New England Patriots and their fans, it was deja vu all over again watching Eli Manning drive the Giants down the field in the closing minutes that will be most remembered for yet another spectacular grab.
This time it was Mario Manningham reeling in a 38-yard grab with 3:19 to go that took the Giants away from their own end zone. Despite the Giants almost finding a way to lose, they held on to win 21-17 to capture their second Super Bowl in the past four years and fourth overall.
It has been an incredible run for a Giants team that many left for dead numerous times this year, starting before the first snap of the season when the team sustained a number of injuries to the defense in the preseason.
From the heroics of Manning to other players (literally) dropping the ball, this game had it all.

"Dancing" doesn't quite describe what Rob Gronkowski was doing on the dance floor at the Patriots' invite-only post-game party after losing the Super Bowl on Sunday night.
It was more a mixture of jumping, violent head-bobbing, and incomprehensible arm-flailing.
He also rips another guy's shirt off at one point.
We all handle losing differently. So who's to judge whether doing what Gronk did is better or worse than sulking around for a month.

This weekend, Gronkowski attended a charity event for Children's Hospital in Boston and apparently took his shirt off and poured drinks on women, according to Shot of Ginn.

ESPN The Magazine's editor in chief, Chad Millman says they like to pick athletes who "just recently popped."

Most athletes are honored when they are asked to pose for the magazine and when it comes to photoshoot day, a different kind of hard work goes on.
The athletes, who are not used to posing nude, are first of all, pretty nervous.
They come in, strip down, get made up, and flex for the camera.
